My middle son, Carter, is 23 and has high-functioning Asperger's syndrome. He's getting ready to leave home to strike out on his own (leaving AZ to go to Seattle), and I'm so very afraid for him. He's very capable once he makes up his mind to commit to something and take action, but all of his life he has been frozen with fear to start things. It is a miracle that he has even decided to do this. He confessed Christ as a young boy (about 12), and was baptized (by me!), but hasn't been pursuing a relationship with the Lord as he's gotten older. I just want to know that he's going to be OK out in the world.
