It's been a long hard road lately. My husband broke his arm at work at the end of August, had surgery and was off work for 7 weeks. During his recovery time, I was diagnosed with ductal carcinoma in situ (a stage 0 non-invasive form of brrast cancer. I under went a barrage of tests and had a lumpectomy and lymph node dissection, which will be followed by centralized radiation therapy. To top it all off, we now have to replace the engine in our truck. I know God will provide us with whatever it is we need, but enough is enough.
Please pray for my family as our journey continues on the path of healing and financial stability.
It's looking like a meager Christmas for our 8 year old son. But less is more, right? Our gifts of quality time just might have to be it this year.
