When we get on a plane the stewardess tells us in the event of an emergency a mask will come down from the ceiling. We need to put ours on before helping others. Sometimes we get busy taking caring of others that we forget or don’t take time to take care of ourselves. Family Life Radio listener Katie (and my daughter) says the Casting Crowns song Just Be Held reminds her that God is taking care of her. God holds her. God listens to her. He loves her. He loves us. He is taking care of us. He holds us. He listens to us!
Brokenhearted Blessings
Family Life Radio member Ann Marie is going through a tough time physically and emotionally. Even in her trial where she feel like she can’t take the next breath, Ann Marie is blessed by the message of Casting Crowns‘ song Oh My Soul. The lyrics remind us all that we are not alone in the storms of life. We can give our fears to God. He makes a way. God is our strength. He creates beauty from ashes.
The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. The righteous man may have many troubles, but the Lord delivers him from them all Psalm 34:18 – 19
