Tuning into Faith
The right message at just the right time
In the mix of life’s endless noise, it’s easy to lose the melody of God’s voice. Amy Jo’s story reminds us that sometimes, all it takes is turning the dial to tune back into faith. Growing up, Amy found the constant presence of Family Life Radio (FLR) in her car rides with her mom to be “super annoying.” Little did she know, this small annoyance would blossom into a lifeline of faith.
Amy Jo’s story takes us to a pivotal moment when, feeling overwhelmed by doubts and the whisperings of “not being worthy,” she found comfort in the very station she once found irritating.
“I can surely relate to hearing Satan in my ear and beginning to believe that I’m not worthy. And turning on the radio, or changing the station, and hearing just what God knows of me makes a huge difference,” Amy Jo recounts.
Isaiah 43:1 encourages, “Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have summoned you by name; you are mine” (ESV). Like a divine appointment, FLR delivered the message Amy needed to hear, precisely when she needed it the most, reminding her of the transformative power of hearing God’s truth over our lives.

The Ripple Effect of Faith-Inspired Action
Amy Jo’s gratitude towards FLR, “God bless you all and God bless your ministry,” speaks volumes of the station’s impact beyond just a single individual. Faith, when nurtured, can ripple outwards, touching the lives of many.
Supporting FLR, through prayer or financial gifts, isn’t just about keeping a station on-air; it’s about investing in a ministry that reaches out to comfort, uplift, and inspire hearts seeking God’s presence in their lives. Just as Hebrews 13:16 urges us, “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased” (NIV).
Your contribution, no matter the form, is a vital part of this continuing mission.
Amy Jo’s journey invites us to ponder our own paths of living intentionally in Christ. It’s a call to not only seek personal growth in faith but to actively participate in spreading this faith through actions and support. Whether it’s tuning into FLR, engaging in prayer, or reading the Word, each step taken is a stride towards deepening your relationship with God and aiding others on their journey.
In the essence of 1 Thessalonians 5:11, “Therefore encourage one another and build each other up, just as in fact you are doing,” let us be pillars of support for one another, through ministries like FLR, that strive to uplift and guide.
A Shared Blessing
In tuning into FLR, supporting its mission, or simply sharing a word of encouragement, you are playing a crucial role in weaving a tapestry of faith that comforts, guides, and inspires.
