How we thank God for you! Because of you we have great joy as we enter God’s presence.

The Power of “Thank You”
It’s just a common courtesy, that is often overlooked. We can become too familiar with those we love the most and forget to thank them for the joy they bring into our lives. We can never say “thank you” enough for the little things that bring a smile to our face and make our hearts overflow with joy.
Our verse today is a great example of how you can give thanks. Just saying the words – “I thank God for you!” brings blessing to them and strength to your relationship.
If someone has:
- Sent you a text encouraging you …
- Given you the gift of their presence by listening when you needed it …
- Brought you food when you were sick …
- Prayed for you, even if you didn’t know you needed prayer …
- Or offered advice and friendship …
It would probably mean more to them than you’ll ever know if you tell them how much you appreciate their kindness. And it does your heart good to express that thankfulness.
Today’s One Thing
Have you unintentionally taken anyone for granted lately? It’s easy to do when it’s someone were extremely close to. Ask God to show you how you can express your gratitude in a special way to others today.
