Accomplishing Your Purpose

Do you love the feeling you get when accomplishing major tasks? Fulfilling significant items on your “To-do list” gives you a sense of achievement. Little endorphins run through your body, and you shout, or at least you feel like shouting, “Yes – I did it!”

This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.
─ Psalm 118:24 ESV

Accomplishing life’s significant events is rewarding. And fulfilling life’s daily tasks can have the same importance. Your purpose is essential to so many other individuals, even when the emotional energy is not running through your body.

When you ask Christ into your life, you find favor with God. Receiving Christ as your Lord and Savior means you accept the greatest gift of all, and you have entered the Lord’s family to His delight. Your sins are forgiven, and you are made clean.

You are protected from many plans the enemy has against you, and you experience challenges you can handle, but they will stretch and strengthen you beyond your current understanding.

Each day the Lord made is holy and relevant.

Christ welcomes you into the family, and He designed big and small things for you to fulfill. It is easy to get excited when essential things are accomplished, but the mundane items are just as pertinent to fulfilling His purpose. For each day the Lord made is holy and relevant.

Remind yourself that you are significantly important in fulfilling life’s objectives, regardless of the interpretation given to the significance of smaller accomplishments, because they are part of God’s design.

Today’s One Thing
Read Isaiah 58:11 and Psalm 118:24 out loud and allow the Spirit to fill you with joy as you go about your day’s accomplishments.
