Balancing the Head, Heart and Hands

God’s intention is that head, heart and hand would come together. And when they do,
intentional living is the intersection of all three of these. God designed for each of us to live in all
three.

“Let him who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good,
that he may have something to give him who has need.”
─ Ephesians 4:28 NKJV

Paul goes on to specifically talk about our hands, our activities, our behavior. He says, “Let him
who stole steal no longer, but rather let him labor, working with his hands what is good, that he
may have something to give him who has need” (Ephesians 4:28 NKJV).

When your head, heart and hands are balanced, working together, powerful things happen.

  • The head is like your GPS. It gives you the direction of where you should be going in
    life.
  • The heart is the fuel that drives the engine. You can’t accomplish anything without a
heart. You’ve got to have that passion of a heart to move you.
  • The hands are like the engine that gives us the motion. You have to have an engine
    to move the car.

When your head, heart and hands are balanced, working together, powerful things happen.
