Elementary Learning

Watching an experienced elementary teacher work in the classroom is impressive. Observing the teacher communicating well and capturing the students’ attention through engaging inquiry, effective teaching methods and storytelling are exceptional items to witness. Naturally, all the hands go up as though all the children know the correct answer. An experienced teacher understands the possibility of peer persuasion and the desire to please the teacher. So, the teacher hints at the right answer so all may genuinely know.

If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land.

2 Chronicles 7:14 ESV

The greatest Teacher has taught His children accessible parameters to comprehend and follow. Nothing additional is needed in these simple instructions. Believers are called to humble themselves, pray to the Lord and seek Him.

When you accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior, He gives you the Holy Spirit to be your greatest Helper, so you can leave sin behind and make good decisions that align with God’s will. Like the example of the teacher leading her students, the Spirit will guide you to the correct answers.

Jesus Christ is the answer to leaving sin behind and seeking the Lord’s will.

The Holy Spirit leads you to nurture in the fruits of the Spirit, and they become more relevant as you journey forward. The fruits of the Spirit are evidence that you are aligning yourself with God’s will.

Who can say anything against you when you are living by the fruits of the Spirit?

Today’s One Thing

Give thanks to the Lord for giving you Jesus Christ, the answer. Jesus, in turn, has forgiven you of all your sin and given you the Holy Spirit. Ask the Lord to help you become more sensitive to hearing His teachings and following His guidance.
