God’s Greater Wisdom

All you must do is ask, and God gives wisdom generously.

If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach, and it will be given him.

– James 1:5 ESV

Have you noticed the first step in seeking God’s wisdom? You must recognize you lack it, as the verse in James, chapter 1 states.

How you think things should be is not always how God is putting them together. God promises to give you wisdom when you ask Him for it. As you make your requests to God and surrender to His plan, He will be with you every step of the way. He does not look down on you for asking. You may think you should know by now, but He is thrilled you asked. He is happy to answer your request.

God gives you wisdom lavishly as you trust and ask Him for it.

You are a part of what God has in store for those He placed in your sphere of influence. Ask Him to show you how to go about sharing His love and plan of salvation for them. He will generously give you what you need to accomplish the tasks as you approach them with this eternal perspective.

Ask and trust God to answer your request for wisdom. He can be trusted. Act upon how He leads.
