Never Invisible to God

Let’s say you arrived early to a party, anticipating seeing someone special. You watch the door, waiting for them to come in. And when they arrive, your eyes meet and they make you feel like you are the only person in the room the entire evening.

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
─ Galatians 2:20 ESV

That’s how your Heavenly Father sees you once you’ve received Christ. He’s not looking to find fault with you, to judge you or to try to make you into someone you’re not. He sees you in the image of Christ. In His eyes you are already perfect because He sees you through the blood of Jesus that cleansed you and presented you without a past. You’re forgiven and brand new.

God sees you. You are never invisible to Him.

Now, the enemy of your soul pretends to see you, but he can’t really see you. You are hidden in the light of Christ. The enemy remembers your past, your sin and who you used to be. He reminds you of who you were before Christ. He accuses you and points out every fault in hopes of bringing you into condemnation, or at least making you feel guilty. But guilt is not from God (Romans 8:1).

God sees you. You are never invisible to Him. So rejoice in your relationship with God. Celebrate how He sees you. And thank Him for hiding you from the enemy in Christ.

Today’s One Thing
Take time today to let others know God sees them by making them feel seen and valued. It can be a text or phone call, simply to say, “I’m thinking of you today,” or expressing how much it means to have them in your life.
