Our Success Assured!

“Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.”

─ 1 John 4:4

We are created to win. Just like Adam, the first of all mankind, we were placed on the earth and given dominion from God to rule everything in it. Our beginnings found in Genesis tell the story of how Adam separated himself from God through disobedience in the Garden of Eden. He fell from the position of authority that God wanted him to have, but there is good news.

As a child of God, through faith in Christ Jesus, we’ve been made an over comer in this life! All that Adam lost belongs to us! Imagine in our most challenging situations, God saying to us that we will be successful and come out on top, even stronger than we were before. What an amazing promise and confidence booster!

We have all the wisdom of God backing our success. We have God on the inside of us, helping to accomplish the work. Everything we put our hand to, according to His purpose for us, is promised success (Deuteronomy 28:8).

We may not immediately feel like a winner. It doesn’t mean we won’t have challenges. The hurdles before us seldom disappear overnight, but we can go over them and stand victorious in Christ.

Today’s One Thing

What difficulty is before you today? Ask God for His wisdom and instruction. Then dig your heels in deep and expect to win big!
