Until the End of Time

“Even to your old age I am he, and to gray hairs I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear; I will carry and will save.” – Isaiah 46:4

 Sometimes, as we age, we begin to feel invisible. We can’t be as active as we once were or do as much for others. We feel overlooked and maybe even forgotten, only because we can’t contribute at the level we used to.

Isn’t it great to know that no matter how old we are, or what is going on around us—God never forgets us. Our spiritual life, as well as our physical life, is part of God’s grace and providence. He knows the number of all our days, and He values them all (Psalm 139:16). He carries us, not only through our difficult times but during all our times. He knit us together, knows us intimately and supports us forever.

God never changes. His care for us never wavers. No matter what happens in the world around us, God will carry us throughout our entire lifetime, even to the last second.

Write a card to an older member of your church, just to remind them of your friendship and God’s love.
