What Can Your Story Do?
We all have stories to tell! Remember when God …
- Sustained you in a difficult financial season.
- Healed your child.
- Kept you from falling into a terrible mess.
- Comforted you through a long season of heartbreak.
On the day disaster struck, they came and attacked, but you defended me. When I was fenced in, you freed and rescued me because you love me.
─ Psalm 18:18-19 CEV
The Bible is full of stories of God’s faithfulness. It’s His story of long ago, written down to give you hope for tomorrow, faith for today, and an understanding of who God is, what He expects, and how He wants to show up in your life.
Live your life in such a way that you point others toward God.
The Scriptures testify of encounters with God. God spoke to Moses through a burning bush. God sustains Daniel in a lions’ den. Esther is chosen queen and is used by God to save His people. Accounts in the New Testament share Jesus’ miracles in the lives of everyday citizens and his close friends.
When you share your story of God’s goodness, faithfulness, love and friendship, your words encourage others to know Him. As you openly acknowledge your own experiences, your life should draw others to desire to follow Christ!
