You Made It

July 1, 2023 precisely at noon can be commemorated as the middle of the year, indicating that you have journeyed through 182 days and 12 hours of the year. You have another 182 days and 12 hours remaining to complete the year successfully.

Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.

– Isaiah 41:10 ESV

You made it, and you are doing well! God has been with you every step of the way in the first half of this year. You’ve faced ups and downs, twists and turns, but God has brought you through it all. As you move into the second half of this year, you can be confident knowing He will continue to walk with you and listen to your prayers.

God is faithful and loving, and He desires an intimate relationship with you. He wants to be your guide, your strength and your comforter. Just as God went before the Israelites, He goes before you and walks beside you through every moment of your life. Moses took time to remind the Israelites, and it’s a good reminder to us, too (Deuteronomy 31:8).

As you encounter challenges and opportunities during the second half of this year, hold onto God’s promises. He makes sure you have the strength and courage you need to persevere.

You are God’s child; He will go before you as you face discouragement and challenges.

Remember, you have a role to play in your journey, also. You must continue to seek God through prayer, reading the Bible and obeying His will for your life. Proverbs 3:5-6 is a promise: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths” (ESV).

With God by your side, you can do anything He calls you to do (Philippians 4:13). Decide today to walk forward into this second half of the year together, hand in hand with your faithful God.

Today’s One Thing

Praise God for the half-year He has given you and the remaining half that He will guide you through.
