Your Source of Rest

Do you feel tired? And it’s probably not just the kind of tired that a good night’s sleep can fix. Maybe you’re emotionally drained from juggling too many responsibilities, or perhaps you’re spiritually fatigued, feeling distant from God. You have a Source of rest that can rejuvenate you in every way.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

– Matthew 11:28 NIV

Jesus invites you to come to Him when you’re exhausted and burned out. He doesn’t say, “Get it together first, and then come to me.” He simply says, “Come.” He’s presented you with an open invitation to experience rest for your soul, no matter what kind heaviness you’re going through.

Choose to find rest in Christ.

This is your moment to find rest. You’re not alone; we’re all navigating the complexities of life, trying to balance our physical, emotional, mental and spiritual needs. So go ahead, take that step toward Jesus. As you relax in His presence, you’ll find a rest that goes deeper than just physical relaxation. Time with Him rejuvenates your soul and recharges your spirit.

Fatigue is not a sign of weakness; it’s a sign that you’re human. And in your humanity, you’re invited to find divine rest. So why wait? Come to Jesus for the rest you so deeply need.

Today’s One Thing

Pray: “Heavenly Father, I come to You weary and burdened. I lay my fatigue at Your feet and ask for Your rest to fill my soul. Help me to find moments of rejuvenation in my busy life and guide me in ways to sustain my spirit. Amen.”
