David Crowder, formerly of the David Crowder Band, now goes by just Crowder, an individual artist as opposed to a band.
David was a student at Baylor University when his musical career began. At Baylor, a Christian college, David was surprised to find that many of the students didn’t attend church. His remedy? He started a church and a worship band to make church (and Jesus) something students would not just come to and enjoy but relate to.
Though the David Crowder Band is over, “God still had musical plans for me,” he says.
