My wife and I took our four year old grandchild in for a couple months because my daughter had a serious surgery. We also brought my mother in law to our home so she could spend Christmas with the family and not be alone. We also have four foster children that we love and care for. My wife, mother in law, and I have came down with covid. We have been sick for over a week. I pray The Lord will heal us from this terrible sickness. Things have gotten worse (not better) since asking for prayer. I realize that's how it must work (get worse to get better). Please pray for me, I am in an abusive relationship,. He punched holes in the door because I wanted to watch a game in peace. Now the door doesn't close. I do pay for everything, I have a lot of "rules and restrictions" put on me by the partner/abuser. We are not married he insists on living with me (when I suggest him living elsewhere that's when he gets violent and breaks things). A broken door can be replaced but our hearts and well being and peace of mind are more important. Not sure what to do but this CAN NOT continue into the new year. Thank you for your prayers!

In a major battle with spiritual darkness. Jesus, I give my broken heart to You. I don't exactly know why it just broke this evening. Maybe I did come in contact with, some deep hidden painful feelings. Feelings like not being wanted, appreciated, loved. Being left out, from those dearest to my heart. Maybe I'm just a fool in their eyes. I often try so hard. I think much of my identity is in that being there for people I love, the dearest one to my heart, to give all I can give, and it's not about that they need to give back, but maybe the thing that just broke me this evening was, that maybe it's not accepted what I try to give. My wife and best friend of 25 years left me a year ago. The divorce was final six months ago. It came as a complete shock to me even though she gave me valid reasons and I probably should have known. In my mind, things were going well between us. When she told me she was leaving, she'd already made up her mind and didn't allow me to try to fix the problems, which I would have done in a heartbeat. This past year, I've just been kicking myself for not seeing things the way she did. I want to call her and hear her voice, but she's made it clear that she doesn't want me to contact her. My husband was heartbroken that he could not attend her Memorial service as he was very sick at home. A few days later I took him to the ER, and after a week, and surgery, he remains in the hospital with a colostomy bag and not yet able to take anything orally for some reason. Please pray, not only about our grief and loss, but also for his healing, protection over our family and peace.This is tough. Thank you Warriors!!
