Recently the wind pulled the cap from my chimney and it's now caught on a branch. I'm asking for prayer in finding someone to repair this before it gets really cold as my fireplace is one of the main sources of heat. I've contacted a couple of people who either don't have 'trucks' in my neighborhood or who's repair dates are far out. Please pray for me, thank you.

It's difficult telling my husband my needs. He minimizes them. He says he cares, but doesn't show that he does. I ask him to do things to help me, he says he will, but then doesn't. When I ask him why it wasn't done, he becomes defensive, so it makes me not want to ask. I think he knows this, so he takes advantage of it. I think I'm enabling him. Confronting him doesn't always feel safe. I feel alone, my needs go unmet. He doesn't take care of himself. His hygiene is very poor, and his health. His spaces in the home are disaster. messy and unclean. I don't know how to talk to him about this.

Please pray that my thyroid nodule is not cancerous and that I have the strength and faith to undergo a fine need biopsy this week to determine the status of the nodule. I had ductal carcinoma in situ 5 years ago and I am feeling the same anxiety I felt from that process. Would you all please pray for my daughter's family. Recently they had a major water leak in their home (destroyed their flooring, carpet most of their furniture and walls, baseboards, etc). They have home insurance, the insurance company is not willing to cover them for all their damages. They pay extra for full replacement coverage, but the adjuster has treated them so badly. My son is having extreme episodes that may be undiagnosed psychosis, or reaction to medication, he's very unstable. Hallucinations, voices in his head, all sorts of nasty things. He becomes lucid, says he was coming back to Christ, then he's off in a flash talking about having dragon wings. He is so brilliant, caring, good with people and then this all happened. He came out of a ten year alcoholic binge, ten years ago and has been in recovery since. I do not believe he's drinking again, but he has been on some heavy medication. Please pray for my family, we are having labs and tests that are causing me to be anxious. I had my mammogram, and a bone density test. I have thyroid cancer. This can cause bone loss, I am anxious for my results, pray for peace as I wait on the test results. My husband has to repeat bloodwork to follow up on his PSA level. He had prostate cancer and was doing well, a few months ago his levels began to increase. Pray that his PSA level is stabalized at a safe level. I have an appointment next Monday, Nov 1st for an ultrasound to (hopefully, Lord willing) verify pregnancy and see/hear baby's heartbeat. The past week has been full of fear and anxiety at every little twinge and pain due to our previous losses (one at 24 weeks and one at 14 weeks). I want so desperately to hold this baby (due in June of next year), count his fingers and toes, caress his little nose, smell his hair, etc., but I want to fulfill the Will of the Lord -and whatever He has for us- more.
