Asking for prayers for my brother Josh who is fighting alcoholism and was just diagnosed with cirrhosis. He is 38 yrs old and has a long life ahead of him if he can stop drinking. My Uncle Joe is a Jewish Orthodox man. Since my beloved grandfather died many years ago, he stepped into that role and has been a great blessing to my children and I. After many years of fighting leukemia, and now almost 80, his mind is failing and he is currently suffering from bleeding in the brain. My husband is recovering from COVID and we are so grateful for the prayers. Now, I have another request. We have a young adult grandson who is probably bipolar, but refuses to see a dr. When he has an episode, he attempts to self-medicate, which leads to a downward spiral. That's where he is now. I live in a HUD apartment, alone, with a cat. There are noises outside every second of the day, in spite it is at the edge of the town and the apartment is so nice otherwise.
Automobiles come with stink and noises. In my upstairs room, there are also noises from a nearby airport. We forget the noise and the stink come by money. The more people want money, the noisier and the stinkier it gets!

Recently experienced what I am sure is a friendship breakup with not one but two of my closest friends. Its a confusing time and I am just worried and fearful of drama coming along. I pray that I am able to forgive them and them forgive me. I pray that even if we aren't friends anymore that we are able to just be happy and safe and no hard feelings. I pray that even if we don't ever become friends again that they are blessed and protected and I pray that all 3 of us are able to be happier and better off.

Update: My mom, Maria, continues in the ICU after a stroke and surgery on 9-12-2020. She has not woken up and the doctors give her a poor prognosis. We see her make attempts at opening her eyes and moving her hand via facetime but the doctors don't consider them purposeful or meaningful. Please I ask for prayers that God grant us the miracle of her recovery. And for strength, endurance, and faith in His plan and will. We struggle with that sometimes. Thank you. August 17th I asked for prayer for my son Eric. He had his colon removed with many complications. Doctors told him they had lost people less sick than him. He has a long recovery but is recovering nicely. He is a true miracle. Thank you so very much for your prayers!!! God is so good and we are so thankful!!!

I had asked for prayers for my granddaughter, Atira. Thurs. she OD and was in ICU. She has recovered from that and last evening they took her to a behavior health facility 120 miles away. Because of covid no one can visit, she just turned 15. They are the idea couple and a great representation to the body of Christ. But now the devil has come in from the outside to try and break then apart.
