As an avid outdoorsman, former Army specialist and the Executive Chef at Harry’s Harbour Place Grille for the past ten years, Donny takes pride in his abilities both inside and outside the kitchen. Locally he has been seen in cooking competitions such as “Buffalo’s Top Chef” and frequented AM Buffalo, sharing his passion for cooking with the people of Buffalo. Prior to his accident, he was casted for a placement in FOX televisions hit show “Hell’s Kitchen” with Gordon Ramsey.

Because of his injuries and paralysis, Donny has had to put his life on hold.

On April 25th, 2011, friends and family of Donny will hold a benefit to help him seek experimental treatment at the XCell Center in Germany to cure spinal cord injuries. Proceeds will also help to defray the exorbitant medical bills incurred during his three-plus month hospital stay. While Donny has been released from the hospital and now resides in Elma, NY his recovery is being hindered by these medical bills, and necessary equipment to help Donny get back on his feet.

Please join Donny’s friends and family on April 25th in a fundraiser for someone who is both a dear friend, and first-class citizen.

The Lord is just as He promised. He is my everything: provider, protect, advisor, love of my life... I am currently a single parent with two daughters; 2 & 12. I was able to get away from my abuser. God is great!!! He gave me my two bedroom 1.5 bath townhouse to get away and have my own...Yes God is Good!!!! I have an interview today as well!!!! God is amazing!!!! I haven’t worked in two years...being a stay at home mom was where I was suppose to be in that season...my prayer is get my house together to become a home. We have nothing literally but the clothes on our back dishes n food...a card table n a tv...WiFi...n a phone.... Life is amazing!!!! I just need strength to continue being strong. I wish I had someone who could watch over my physical, but again, God IS my protection...I just need strength n courage...I’m living n recovery and my ex simply cannot. I know God saves so I stuck it out n prayed n let God shine through me...but my ex continued to destroy me, intentionally and unintentionally...so prayer for strength n courage wisdom...and for the addicts that don’t come home... thank you guys!!!!

My dad is very sick, he has been almost my entire life. Will a few years ago my dad had a heart attack. We didn't think he would make it and he did thank God. He's been declining slowly since then, but in the past two months he's declined so fast. He's coughing blood Everytime he coughs, can hardly walk anymore. He's aged 20yrs in 2 months. I'm asking for prayers for my dad to find peace in his heart during this time. He knows he doesn't have much time left and it's making him crazy. He's constantly picking on my mom (44yrs married) and it's completely stolen his Joy.

Please pray for my dad to find peace and accept what's going on. I really want my dad to enjoy his family while he has the chance. Especially for my mom, I want her to be able to enjoy that time they have left.

This prayer request is actually for a co-worker, I work at this restaurant in chandler which is like a family and my favorite cook who just got engaged found out his fiancé is pregnant but also found out she has cancer in her neck area (i'm not sure on the details on this) but they have no idea if she will survive after giving birth and this brought me to tears! I have a friend named Alex. I wrote about him here before. He's homeless.. can't see his son who is his world and can't seem to catch a break. He thinks about death and giving up every day. He tried being s good person by helping someone and they screwed him over so now he says he'll never have faith. I understand why he feels that way. I need prayer warriors to pray for him in his time of desperate need that God gives him strength and shows him he is there. He's barely holding on. He needs good people to come along side him to give him hope again. He did just find a job (praise God!) But he needs help. I live in a different state so I'm limited. He needs prayer and he needs miracles !!

I have an enlarged prostate that inhibits urinating freely. As a result I have bladder retention of urine. As a result of bladder retention I also have diverticulum in the bladder. My urologist has installed a urinary catheter and foley bag on April 29th and still have it. My urologist has scheduled me for TURP surgery on May 23rd but pre-op labs indicate I have too high calcium level in blood in order to proceed with TURP surgery. Please pray that our LORD will see me through this, that I would be healed of issues related to my prostate, bladder, and urinary tract even if He chooses to heal me through surgery. I am 70 years old and have been in excellent health up until the last 6 months. God is good, gracious, and merciful. In Scripture it says,”You have not because you do not ask,” and...well I am asking that God will heal my urinary tract and bladder issues.
