My brother needs prayers. His employer has been letting go of some staff because they are moving the business out of state. I know he wants to rescue some of the staff and support his family too but hearing him talk I just don't know how to encourage him. Pray the Lord will lead him in the right direction and give him hope and peace about what is next for him and his family. This is the second time this has happened to him with the same company.

My children’s father left us when they were young and eventually dispapered from their lives. As young adults my son deals with addiction and depression. It has torn our family apart. My daughter has now decided that she wants to be with women. She has never shown any signs of same sex attraction. She has always liked boys. I am in so much pain. I can hardly function.

PRAISE REPORT: A couple of days ago I asked for prayer for two very financially scary things. 1. My car broke mid-drive, middle of the road - mechanic said it was done. I was frightened and scared and prayed fervently to God. A couple of hours later I received a 10 day notice for having storage on my porch, the wording was ambiguous and it seemed like the cancelled the lease. I freaked out. No car, no place to live, I'm out of work FMLA temporarily for medical. I prayed repeatedly. Panic was overwhelming me. I fell asleep saying over and over.. God is Faithful, God is Sovereign. God came through with a new car and my porch is spotless. They are still doing some inspections which freaks me out just cause I dislike people coming into my home - even if it has nothing to do with me - I think they might be selling the property. Regardless, while I'm still a bit unsettled, the complete overwhelming panic has mostly subsided. God is amazing. I'm so thankful for prayers and I'm thankful Jesus took my debts over and that Miracles still happen daily. My child has the opportunity to witness miracles in motion and that's a blessing. Please pray for me and my children. For the almost the entire month of October I was helping to care for my Father who was terminally ill and put on Hospice in West Virginia.Hospice flew me to West Virginia on October 6th and on October 10th Hurricane Michael hit Panama City, Florida where I live. My children were still in Panama City and rode out the storm with thier Dad and Grandparents. Thank GOD they were safe only shaken up but not hurt. I stayed in close contact by text and called them when there was phone service. My return flight was scheduled for October 15th, but I was told by my Mother that there was no electricity, water or anything and that I needed to stay in West Virginia and postpone my flight because conditions were so bad, and also was told by my ex boyfriend that I needed to call FEMA and file a claim because the house we were living in had suffered flood damage (my ex boyfriends parents house) his parents lived next door on the same property. So I postponed my flight again until October 26th. On October 18th (my birthday) my Father was admitted to the hospital, the day before my scheduled flight home. My Father was near death and I just couldn't bring myself to leave him! The next day October 27 my Father passed away. We had a viewing and service on October 30th, then he was scheduled to be cremated. I returned to Panama City, Florida on November 3rd, My ex boyfriend still has my children and has been saying that I had abandoned my children and won't let me talk to them or see them. And has said that I would have to fight him in court. On November 7th his parents posted an eviction notice on the door for me. Most of my personal belongings is still in the house and I have bo way to get them out or a place to store them! Me and my children really need alot of prayer!! I have only gotten to see them 1 time and talk to them 2 times on the phone since my return on November 3rd!! I am currently staying on a friends couch and am having a very difficult time coping with everything. I have had alot of major problems with my back and hands and haven't worked for about 10 years. I have been a Born Again Christian for almost thirty years. I believe in the Power of Prayer. I love GOD with all of my heart, and I trust in his plan for my life. Please pray for me. I am very discouraged. I can't go anywhere or do much of anything, I feel like I'm trapped in the house like a prisoner. I had an injury to the front of my right ankle almost a year ago, it was starting to get better, but now I can barely walk due to the pain and cramping in my right foot. I had a similar injury about 14 yrs ago to the same leg, and after all the guessing games and pain killers from the doctors, I turned to Jesus to heal me, and He did, almost instantly. The problem now is that I'm fighting some kind of evil that is forcing me to stay down and suffer non-stop every day. I'm also homeless and staying with a friend that has anger issues, and complains about everything and makes me nervous all the time. I just discovered that I have been a victim of "catfishing". Not only have I lost money, but I feel as though I have lost a godly man that had brought is together. My wife and I had a wonderful, incredibly happy marriage. I lied to her about something from my previous marriage that has caused her deep emotional pan. I can’t even put into words how deeply I’ve hurt her. She kicked me out of our bedroom, tore up all our photos, and says that she believes the damage to our marriage is so great that it could never recover—and that she can never imagine ever being touched by me again, saying she may have an affair to fulfill her needs. I tell her that God is bigger than this and can restore us, but she doesn’t seem interested. I’ve caused her to turn her back on God. She’s so upset, she’s having serious medical issues as well. I’m so deeply grieved and I hate myself for hurting her.

Please pray that God would give my wife the strong desire and conviction to reconcile with me instead of filing for divorce.. that He would draw her near and heal the emotional pain I’ve caused her..for her physical healing...That He would convict her to not seek revenge nor be unfaithful...and for him to remove her jealousy toward my ex which has caused so many problems in our marriage and made my lying to her 1000 times worse. Please also pray that she would not contact my ex wife who would lie to her in effort to destroy us.

Please pray for my friends and their family (B & M). M has been in remission from liver cancer for the past couple of years. In the past few weeks, the cancer has returned and was discovered in a follow up scan. The cancer has spread into the reneal vein and into a nodule in the lung. At this time, they are not able to perform surgery. Doctors are hopeful that with drug therapy they can shrink or stop the progression and then at that time can revisit surgical options. Please pray for the doctors to have the wisdom to treat the cancer and obtain remission. Please pray for M that he continues to have a positive and fighting attitude. For many years my beautiful wife Amy (42) has been struggling with alcoholism. We have two young boys. Josh (6, ours) & Jayce (12, my step son) on October 8th she lost her battle. While we were gone she drank, passed out in our tub and drowned. As if that’s not bad enough, her sister in San Diego, against Amy’s unwritten wishes is splitting up our boys. She’s taking Jayce and adopting him. Iowa law is clear that Jayce’s opinion doesn’t matter and there’s nothing I can do. Both boys are dealing with mommy’s death well. Josh isn’t going to understand why Jayce is leaving for good. I need strength and wisdom in dealing with everything. In addition to all of this they have been living with my parents for the last 8 months due to her drinking and DHS involvement. Her sister when she was here for the funeral took Amy’s journal from rehab. Unbeknownst to me, it detailed things from years past when I was drinking too (I’m 9 months sober). I made a lot of very bad mistakes with her then that I’m not proud of and have been forgiven for. Anyway her sister took it straight to DHS knowing it would make things more difficult to bring Josh home. DHS is using it against me and things are being slowed down. Please pray that this will change and that he will return home before Christmas. Please pray for Jayce that he will adjust rapidly, make new friends, and most importantly, be allowed to keep in touch with his brother. I haven’t been able to even begin grieving due to all these other issues. I know I’ve mentioned a lot. Thank you for reading this and for your prayers in advance.

My nephew, A, is a recovering substance abuser. He is my sister's eldest son and he and I have been very close all his 37 years, even though we live over 1000 miles apart.

He was molested by a man through their church when he was 12 but he didn't tell me until he was 19, because his parents wanted it hushed up. They didn't pursue the case, choosing instead to sweep it under the rug. When A told me - he apologized for it happening. The poor child, even now, believes it was somehow his fault and I think that's why he keeps having struggles in his life - he doesn't value himself.

A's working and has been doing well for the last year - so recently, I loaned him a bit of money for the deposit on his own apartment (he'd been living in a "sober house"). He's moved in and seems quite happy. I'd like to ask for prayers for his continued improvement. A loves the Lord & tries to do right by him, he just needs some nudging sometimes, to keep from getting sidetracked.

Please pray that A will see how he is so loved by God. Pray that he can find a way to love himself and be content with who he is. And, lastly, if you would please pray for he and I to be able to stay honest and true with each other. I'm worried he'll vanish past the point of no return.

I'm 63 and have never asked for prayer before but I'm just so tired, worn out and feel defeated. Almost 20 years ago, I started having pain and other health issues after having a hysterectomy. My whole body felt like I'd been run over by a semi truck - and it was so very painful to put weight on my feet that I went to the doctor and told him they felt as if all the bones were broken in them. That started me on a journey of declining health, increased weight and a long trail of doctors who couldn't decide what was wrong with me but wanted me to take a pain pills and a pill for "depression".

I declined both.

Finally, after 9 years of no clear diagnosis other than "non specific auto immune disease" or possible "seronegative rheumatoid arthritis", I was given the news that I have severe osteoarthritis, fibromyalgia & lupus. I have constant pain when I walk, due to bone on bone arthritis in both feet & needing a knee replacement. My body still feels as if it's been run over by a truck and my life's gone from being an active, productive one where I cared for an contributed to our family, to one almost the opposite. I struggle daily to complete everyday chores, wearing out and having so much pain by mid afternoon that the rest of the day looms like a black hole, threatening to swallow me up in it's pain.

I feel so useless and helpless to change the direction things are heading. I may just be 63 but my body feels 127, I can't imagine growing older and being able to cope.

Please, pray for me to have the strength to do what needs to be done each day and that I can see clearly what our Lord wants me to do. That I may have enough strength to see these illnesses and realize they do not own me, even if they are weighing so heavy on me that I would like to give up.

Thank you, it's just reaching the point where I feel so helpless, useless & good for nothing.

I have been blessed with many great things, however, I am currently struggling to get my only child who is recovering from a life threatening disease, become more independent. As a single mom, I recently had to retire in order to help him out. Now, I find that it is necessary to relocate my son, sell our condo, and find God's direction, guidance and wisdom.
