Like many others this year has been a difficult one in my household. It started with my wife and I finding out that instead of celebrating the future life of our daughter we would instead be planning a funeral. My youngest daughter that we were expecting was diagnosed with double renal-agents is which is a condition where both of her kidneys would not develop. After finding this news out and making the decision to carry to term despite our daughters terminal condition my father passed away unexpectedly in a motorcycle accident. After burying my dad I enjoyed 4 glorious hours with my daughter before she passed away in my arms two months after his death. I’m not usually one who asks for prayer requests and am usually the one praying for others but this is the first Christmas without either of them and my wife and I could use prayers for strength, patience, and love.
