Update and Praise report regarding Ernie's health and healing.
Here was the initial report:
Ernie had just had his colonoscopy and his stomach scoped and they found a small malignant tumor in his stomach. They haven't biopsied it yet, but the doctor told him that he was pretty sure it was malignant.
We started praying that the doctor would be wrong and would be astounded with the report once the biopsy results came back. Here is the latest update:
Wonderful news! None of the 8-10 biopsies from the tumor showed any cancer! The dr was shocked - he really expected this to be cancer. The tumor is precancerous and will need to come out. It is large and probably the cause of Ernie’s reflux and anemia. There could be some cancer lurking around in there, but his lymph nodes are fine per the CT scan and bloodwork regarding tumor markers is fine as well. Hopefully the tumor can be removed with an endoscopic ultrasound procedure. If it is too far into the stomach wall, surgery may be necessary to remove it. This is the best news possible given the circumstances!
Please continue to pray it can all be removed by endoscopic procedure.
