Please pray for me as I just had a thyroid bed ultrasound today due to persistant neck discomfort. Back in 2009 I had a thyroidectomy due to thyroid cancer and then again I had surgery on the thyroid bed in 2011 due to a reoccurance. Since that time I have had a couple of incidences with salivary glands plugging and infection. I was put on antibiotics to combat this. This recent discomfort has been going on for 3 weeks. I have been doing the recommended protocols for salivary gland issues, but it has not totally disapaited and there is still some residual pain in the center left side. Please pray that this is not a reoccurance of cancer. I pray that it is not life threatening or dangerous and that it will resolve safely and successfully. I have a 4 month old granddaughter( my first ) that I babysit 3 days a week. I ask that God keep me in good health so that I can help with her and be a good model of God's love for her. I want to make sure she is exposed to the love and care God gives us and reinforce the Christian model for her and her family. Her parents are hoping to get her christened in April thanks to a discussion I had with them about starting to plan for it. Praise God.
