We received an email from our oldest son's school on Monday, March 20th asking for prayer for one of the students. He was ill the week before. The doctor diagnosed him with a viral bug. On Friday, March 17th his family lived a parent's worse nightmare. This 6th grader was unresponsive after taking a nap to try and shake the bug. He was flown to a local hospital where they found he is an undiagnosed diabetic and was in extremely serious condition. After 5 days of being at this hospital he was flown to Phoenix Children's Hospital where he remains today. He is off the ventilator but his kidneys still aren't functioning on their own. I was listening to your station while putting groceries away and Katy Nichole's song In Jesus Name came on. I lifted up my hands toward Phoenix and sang and prayed and cried out this song to The Lord for this student. He's made some strides in the right direction but he has a long journey ahead of him. Please pray for a miracle and that his kidneys will start to function on their own to flush out all the medication he's on and that The Lord will heal him and make him whole again.
Thank you for your wonderful station as it has helped me get through the worse time of my life when our baby daughter was diagnosed with a heart condition and 7 months later passed away. It's still hard after 17 years but I have the hope I will see her again in Glory.
