I need prayer. I am at the end of my rope. Everything that could happen is happening. I received a letter from Veterans Affairs telling me I owe them $22,000 because they overpaid me. I was receiving $824.00 a month for the widow's claim because my husband was a Marine. My husband was killed in an accident 12 years ago. Then I received another letter from Social Security telling me they overpaid me so they are saying I owe them 10,550. I need to pay them back in 30 days otherwise they will withhold my monthly payments. I had no idea I was being overpaid. Now they want all this money, which I don't have. To top that off, I was told when I first started working for this company, I was told that after 90 days I would receive a .50 raise. I asked the manager when I should be expecting my increase, she told me I was not going to receive an increase. If I don't like that I can leave. She tells me that she will accept my 2-week notice. Oh my goodness I didn't expect her to let me go because I asked a question. So I am asking for prayer. I am trying to pray but I just like God don't want to hear me. I have thought about ending my life. This is all too much. I don't know what to do.
