My younger sister has developed anorexia within the past couple years. She is a breastfeeding mother, a youth pastor's wife and a leading example for the youth girls in her church. I'm the only one in my family bold enough to express my concerns to her, which makes her lash out at me and get defensive. It is the pink elephant in the room whenever my family is together, but everyone else is afraid to talk. Her mother-in-law condones her eating behavior, because she has the same disorder herself! It doesn't help that her husband is very close to his mother and will never stand up to her. Please pray that there can be others, possibly people in her church, even her husband, who can help her realize the truth about herself and can help her reverse it. Pray for her healing.
