Press Release: October 31, 2023 – Family Life Radio Receives Certificate of Excellence for Baby Shower Efforts

TUCSON, AZ (October 31, 2023) —Family Life Radio (FLR) was recognized at the Public Relations Society of America’s (PRSA) Southern Arizona Chapter Impact Awards event on October 24 for their efforts made this year during their annual Ultimate Baby Shower.

FLR received a Certificate of Excellence in the category of Community Relations for the research, planning, implementation and execution of their annual baby shower that collects items for community pregnancy centers across the country.

The award submissions are assessed by an impartial panel from a partnering PRSA chapter located in another part of the United States. “Kudos to the team for their thoughtful and careful planning, which are very clearly articulated. It was a well-organized and executed plan,” noted one judge.

Over 37,000 items were collected in Arizona, Michigan, New Mexico and Texas as part of FLR’s most recent Ultimate Baby Shower held during the spring and summer months.

“This recognition really belongs to not only our hard-working promotions team, but to our incredible listening community who rallied together to help provide hope to moms, dads and babies in need,” said Mike Kankelfritz, FLR’s Chief Broadcast Engagement Officer.
