My ex husband and I have gone through a terrible divorce and custody battle. I called him out on a lot of stuff this last week, made it 100% clear I would never return, threatened him with authorities, and told him I was getting remarried. That is a lot for him to deal with in one week...although he has abused me for a long time. I am concerned about his mental health. He is in no place to die right now, so I want to ask for prayer for him that he turns to God for forgiveness and still does the right "legal" thing by turning himself into authorities to face the. natural consequences of his past decisions. As I truly believe in there being a very real heaven and a very real hell, I do not wish anyone to go to hell, especially not someone I once loved and was in a covenant with. I do not want to be with him at all, but he is still the father of our children and he a person and the victim of childhood abuse himself. Please lift him up in prayer today. I also asked a mutual friend who is a pastor to reach out to him today as well. Please pray that they can meet and that my ex chooses the free grace that is available to all, no matter the sin...but also to have the courage to face what he has done.
